Your chance to shape Liberal Youth

By Tom Wood

It’s election time. No, not just in London and various local councils across the country but also for Liberal Youth. Have you ever thought about getting more involved? If so now is your chance, but be quick because you must submit your nomination by midnight this Sunday 29th April.

There are so many different opportunities available:

  • You may want to shape the activity on the ground, organise your area locally and collaborate with nearby branches – if so why not run to be a Regional Chair?
  • Perhaps your thing is events, or policy, or communications and you want to take control of these things nationally for Liberal Youth. There are plenty of different roles on the Executive for you to choose from!
  • Maybe you want to take on a national role but would rather share the responsibility – in which case why not team up with a friend and job-share or opt to run for one of our various committees?

There are so many fantastic opportunities available to you. By taking on one of these responsibilities you get to take a prominent role in helping drive Liberal Youth forward, build fantastic networks and gain unparalleled experience and skills. Head over to our website to find out how you can apply.

This year we have more opportunities available than ever with a brand new Membership Development Officer role on the Executive and a newly established International Committee. You could be the first one in the role!

Whatever you are interested in, if you have ever thought about running, make the leap and do it today – you won’t regret it.

Best of luck
Tom Wood
Chair of Liberal Youth
P.S. Remember, you don’t have much time left as nominations must be in by midnight on Sunday 29th April !
